It’s asset liquidation time for Village Foods IGA on Snoqualmie Ridge.

The grocery store closed over the weekend after entering Chapter 7 bankruptcy on Friday, said Zachary Mosner, a state bankruptcy attorney.

The debt-ridden store had been open and reorganizing since filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in January, but customers said the store’s inventory was irregular and shelves were often empty.
