Weekly police and fire responses in the Snoqualmie Valley included a purse snatching at a local restaurant, an egging by a group of teens and the theft of a cream-colored Cadillac in Snoqualmie:
North Bend Police
Wednesday, Feb. 23
Theft: At 10:46 a.m., a man called police to report that someone had stolen the aluminum cab guard from his pickup truck, parked in the 200 block of Main Avenue North. He estimated the theft had happened between 8 p.m. the previous evening and 7:30 a.m. that morning.
Tuesday, Feb. 22
Warrant Tip: At 11 a.m., police received information that a man with an outstanding warrant had been seen in the North Bend Library. A officer confirmed that the man was wanted in Bonney Lake, on a $2,000 violation for driving with a suspended license and verified his identity with a photograph.
Monday, Feb. 21
Vandalism: At 2 p.m., the manager of a store in the 400 block of Mount Si Boulevard contacted police about an incident that happened the previous night. He said that some unknown suspects had spray-painted graffiti on the exterior of the building, but his maintenance person had discovered the graffiti and painted over it.
Sunday, Feb. 20
Purse Lifted: At 1:48 p.m., a woman contacted police to report that her purse had been stolen while she was eating at a restaurant in the 700 block of Southwest Mount Si Boulevard. The thief had apparently just lifted the purse off the back of the chair, where the victim had hung it.

Saturday, Feb. 12
Egging: At 9:25 p.m., a resident complained that a group of juveniles had just egged his house in the 35100 block of Southeast Swenson Street. After talking with the man, an officer determined that only one egg had been thrown, at the front window of the man’s home. Nothing was damaged and no other victims called police.
Friday, Feb. 11
Busy Night: At 5:14 a.m., a woman contacted Snoqualmie Police about a theft from her vehicle parked in the 36700 block of Southeast Gravenstein Court. This theft turned out to be one of 14 for the night. The victim said her daughter had forgotten to lock the vehicle the previous night around 11 p.m. A variety of items were taken, but were found during the course of the morning. The responding officer contacted a K-9 unit from Normandy Park for help in tracking the suspect(s). The dog started tracking the suspect around 6:45 a.m., to neighboring houses, onto a nearby trail where some of the stolen items were recovered, up Woody Creek Lane, along Forest Street, across Snoqualmie Parkway, up Isley street, then back to the Parkway and Gravenstein before the dog lost the trail.
Stolen Car: At 11:36 a.m., one of the many car prowl victims of the previous night reported that his vehicle had been stolen. The victim said he’d parked and locked his cream-colored 2002 Cadillac El Dorado in his driveway in the 36100 block of Southeast Isley Street, at around 4:30 p.m. the previous day. He activated the alarm, was home all night, and did not see or hear anything suspicious.

Thursday, Feb. 24
Gas smell: At 8:42 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Ridge business area for a smell of natural gas. It was a false alarm.
Gas smell: At 9:38 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the Snoqualmie Ridge area for another report of the smell of natural gas in the area.
Wednesday, Feb. 23
Medical problem: At 12:39 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to Snowberry Avenue for a 25-year-old woman with a medical problem. She was evaluated and transported to the hospital by private ambulance.
Tuesday, Feb. 22
Stomach pain: At 9 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Fairway Avenue for a woman with stomach pain.
Monday, Feb. 21
Heart problem: At 6:50 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded with Bellevue Paramedics to Southeast Ridge Street for an 80-year-old woman with a rapid heart rate. She was evaluated and left at the scene with her family.
Saturday, Feb. 19
Medical call: At 1:09 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was treated and then transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie EMTs.
Friday, Feb. 18
Medical call: At 6:43 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie EMTs.
Fall City Fire District
Wednesday, Feb. 23
Breathing problem: At 9:02 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 4300 block of Preston Fall City Road Southeast for a 58 year old female having difficulty breathing. The Fire Department had to force entry into home to access patient. The patient was evaluated by Bellevue Paramedics and taken to the hospital by private ambulance.
Tuesday, Feb. 22
Overdose: At 4:11 a.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 35700 block of Southeast 47th Place for a 38-year-old woman who was reported to have overdosed on medications. The patient was treated, evaluated by Bellevue Paramedics and taken to the hospital by the paramedics.
Pain: At 8:27 a.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 4300 block of Preston Fall City Road for a 58-year-old woman with abdominal pain. She was evaluated, treated and taken to the hospital by private ambulance.
Death: At 12:51 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 3000 block of 263rd Place for reports of a deceased person. Firefighters confirmed the patient was deceased and the scene was turned over to King County Sheriff’s Office.
Monday, Feb. 21
Breathing problem: At 1:49 a.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 400 block of 290th Avenue Southeast for a 9-year-old boy with breathing difficulty. Emergency Medical Technicians evaluated the patient and transported him to the hospital.
Sunday, Feb. 20
Rollover: At 1:08 a.m., Fall City Fire Department, Eastside Fire and Rescue and Bellevue Paramedics responded to the intersection of State Route 203 and Northeast 24th Street for a vehicle rollover accident. Emergency Medical Technicians evaluated and began treating the patient on scene. A private ambulance then transported the patient to the hospital for further treatment.
Assault: At 8:27 a.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 33500 block of Southeast 74th Street for a 20-year-old assault victim. The patient was evaluated, treated and left at home with his parents.
Saturday, Feb. 19
Hurt knee: At 2:12 p.m., Fall City Fire Department and Eastside Fire and Rescue responded to the 31000 block of Carnation Farm Road for an 85-year-old man with a knee injury. He was evaluated, treated and drove himself to the hospital.
Thursday, Feb. 17
Lockout: At 7:53 a.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 4300 block of 326th Place for a person locked out of a car. Fire Department personnel helped the person gain access
Structure fire: At 3:30 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded with Eastside Fire and Rescue to the 21200 block of Southeast 40th Street for reports of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished and Fall City Fire Department was cancelled before reaching the scene.
