Snoqualmie’s annual Railroad Days Festival will return in-person for its 82nd year on Aug. 28 and 29 after being canceled last year.
The Northwest Railway Museum, who will host the festival, said this year’s festival will be slightly smaller than other years, but will still feature several attractions. This includes: steam locomotive demonstrations, local restaurants with Grab ‘n Go menus, a Plein Air Paintout with a special month-long treasure hunt, History Comes Alive – virtual and live presentations, Encompass “Kids Fun” handouts, and a variety of vendor booths
The festival’s Grand Parade will take place Aug. 28 and 11 a.m. Live music will happen Saturday night and a car show will happen Sunday. The Northwest Railway Museum will also host a 90 minute train excursion that includes a stop at the top of Snoqualmie Falls. For tickets visit: TrainMuseum.org.
The festival said it plans to return to a full line-up in 2022. For more information visit: railroaddays.com
