Registration, orientation nears for Snoqualmie, Riverview schools

There is no school on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 6.

On the first day of school, high school students should come prepared with basic supplies, including notebooks, paper, pencils and pens. Teachers may request more specific supplies based on your student’s schedule; full school supply lists are available at www.svsd410.org.

Elementary school offices reopen Monday, Aug. 23; Middle school offices reopen Friday, Aug. 20; The Mount Si High School office reopens Aug. 17.

Parents who are new to the district may enroll students by picking up registration packets at the district office, 8001 Silva Ave. S.E., Snoqualmie; The district office remains open this summer.

Student immunizations must be current before the first day of school.

Cedarcrest registration

The first day of school in the Riverview School District is Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Cedarcrest students can pick up their schedule and complete related registration activities next week. For seniors, pick-up is 8 a.m. to noon Monday, Aug. 16. For juniors, pick-up is 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 17; For sophomores, pick up is 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 18.

Freshman registration, fee payment and school pictures are 8 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, for students with the last names starting with the letters A to K. For students with last names starting with L to Z, registration is 9 to 9:30 a.m., fees and pictures are 11 a.m. to 12:30 o.m.

From 9:30 to 11 a.m., all freshman students must attend a program in the school theater.

Friday, Aug. 20, is a make-up day for all grades.
