Residents call town meeting on Snoqualmie Mill annex

A group of Valley residents have called two town meetings to discuss concerns and talk strategies about slowing down the planned city of Snoqualmie annex of the 600-acre Mill Planning Area in King County.

At 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, King County Councilwoman Kathy Lambert will meet with and discuss the annex at Snoqualmie City Hall.

On 6 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at the Mount Si Senior Center, residents are invited to discuss concerns and plan strategies.

In an e-mail message, organizers stated they want the county and city to “walk a more deliberate and cautious path” concerning the site, now home to DirtFish Rally School and the Old Mill Adventure Park. It hosted a televised rally race last month.
