Rotary Club grants go out for Snoqualmie Valley service projects

The Rotary Club of Snoqualmie Valley has selected nine groups to receive $12,000 through its community service grant fund. The non-profits had to meet a community need to be considered for the grants.

The Rotary Club of Snoqualmie Valley has selected nine groups to receive $12,000 through its community service grant fund.

The non-profits had to meet a community need to be considered for the grants. Recipients include:

• Mount Si High School PTSA, $4,959

• Fall City Food Pantry, $1,000

• Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum, $976

• Elder and Adult Day Services, $700

• Reach for the Sky Performing Arts, $1,200

• Encompass, $1,000

• Sno Valley Indoor Playground, $750

• Veterans’ Memorial Park, $1,000

• Mount Si Helping Hand Food Bank, $420

Elder and Adult Day Services will use their finds to purchase a wheelchair scale. Reach for the Sky uses its funds to provide a teen music and dance camp.
