Who are your local merchants, restaurateurs, and professional service business owners? At Sample Snoqualmie, residents of the Snoqualmie Valley will see and sample what city businesses offer to the community.

Sample Snoqualmie is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept 10 at Snoqualmie Ridge Community Park’s lower field, 35016 S.E. Ridge St.

Admission is free. Businesses will set up tents and booths to offer samples and giveaways, and have items for sale.

The afternoon includes live music by The Left Coast Gypsies, tours of the merchant booths, and food and drinks at the beer garden. Children can create fun crafts, play games, and drink themselves silly with free root beer.

A list of participating businesses is posted on the city of Snoqualmie Web site at www.cityofsnoqualmie.org in the ‘Special Events’ section.

Vendors can apply for booths by calling the Snoqualmie Parks & Recreation Department at (425) 831-5784 or download an application from the City website.
