Dan Popp of Redmond was appointed to the Snoqualmie Valley School District board of directors during a special meeting Monday, Dec. 8.
He is the North America area sales manager for Microsoft Learning and a past president of Fall City Little League. All five of his children attend schools in the district.
Popp was among four candidates who interviewed with the current school board and superintendent to represent Director District #5.
Popp will be sworn in and begin his service at the next regularly scheduled board meeting on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. He replaces Kristy Sullivan, who resigned in November after 12 years on the board.
