Schools mark Veterans Day with assemblies

Cascade View Elementary School will recognize and honor the veterans in school families by displaying their names in the school’s main hallway. The school will also host a Veterans Day assembly, 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6.

Cascade View Elementary School will recognize and honor the veterans in school families by displaying their names in the school’s main hallway. The school will also host a Veterans Day assembly, 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6.

Fall City Elementary School will host a Veterans Day assembly to honor men and women who have served, or are currently serving, in the armed forces. All veterans and active service members are welcome to attend the event, which begins at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the school. Honored guests are asked to arrive at 9:15. A tea will follow the assembly.
