Wednesday, Sept. 9
Annoying horn: At 1:36 a.m., officers responded to a complaint by a resident in the 34000 block of Southeast Strouf Street about a car alarm that had been sounding for 20 minutes. The owner was contacted and said he has been having alarm problems.
Agency assist: At 11:27 a.m., an officer assisted the King County Sheriff’s Office with attempting to locate the subject of a warrant at the 39000 block of Beta Street.
Monday, Sept. 7
Drug possession: At 1:50 a.m., an officer on patrol at Mill Pond Road and Reinig Road contacted a man parked on the shoulder of the road. His eyes were red and watery and his speech was slurred, and the officer could smell alcohol. Suspecting that he may have been an intoxicated driver, officers asked the man to exit the car and move to the front of the vehicle. He kept placing his hand in his pocket, so officers asked him to turn his pockets out. Inside one was a marijuana bud. The man was cited for posession of marijuana.
Indecent exposure: At 10:14 p.m., an officer saw a man urinating on a wall at the 38600 block of Southeast King Street. He was warned and given a ride.
Sunday, Sept. 6
Basket buster: At 12:22 a.m., an officer contacted a person pulling plants out of hanging baskets at the 8000 block of Railroad Avenue. The person was found to have warrants out of Snoqualmie and was arrested and booked into Issaquah Jail.
Reckless driving: At 12:54 a.m., a caller reported someone driving recklessly in the area of Railroad Avenue and Newton Street. No car was found in the area.
Loud music: At 10:53 p.m., a caller reported a complaint of loud music at the 36000 block of Southeast Ridge Street.
Saturday, Sept. 5
Drug gear: At 1:08 a.m., an officer on patrol at Southeast Fir Street and Railroad Place noticed a woman riding a bike without a helmet or light. When the officer contacted her, she was extremely fidgety, constantly moving in short, jerky motions. Suspecting drug use, the officer asked for identification. When the woman looked for her ID card, the officer noticed a glass smoking pipe covered with a white residue. She was arrested for possession of paraphernalia, and officers found an electronic scale and several baggies in her lunch box.
Fall City Fire District
Tuesday, Sept. 8
Smoke: At 11:32 a.m., firefighters from Fall City responded with Redmond Fire Department for a report of smoke in the residence at the 25700 block of Northeast 39th Way. Units investigated the scene; nothing was found.
Sunday, Sept. 6
Stormy weather: At 11:41 a.m., firefighters responded to multiple alarms throughout the district for trees on roadways and downed power lines. PSE was alerted to them and the trees were removed. All roadways were re-opened.
Structure fire: At 10:02 p.m., firefighters from Fall City responded with Eastside Fire and Rescue to the 2300 block of East Beaver Lake Drive Southeast for a residential structure fire. After Eastside Fire and Rescue units arrived at the scene, they quickly located a small fire in a wall. The fire was extinguished.
Saturday, Sept. 5
Suicide prevention: At 10:54 p.m., EMTs responded to the 31800 block of Southeast 40th Street for a 40-year-old woman who had been feeling suicidal. After EMTs and King County sheriff’s deputies evaluated her, she was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle via private ambulance for further assistance.
Breathing problem: At 11:22 p.m., EMTs responded to the 4400 block of 356th Drive Southeast for a 22-year-old man experiencing respiratory distress. After treatment at the scene, he was transported by Bellevue paramedics to Overlake Hospital Medical Center.
Thursday, Sept. 3
Unconscious woman: At 10:53 a.m., Fall City EMTs responded to Cascade Ridge Elementary for an 8-year-old girl who had passed out.
