If Snoqualmie residents are looking for a way to get more involved in their community, the Friends of the Snoqualmie Library are looking for them.
The Friends group offers a venue for members to share a love of books, make new friends, and invest time and energy in expanding opportunities for children, families and seniors in the community.
Friends of the Snoqualmie Library is a non-profit group that supports the Snoqualmie Library by volunteering, hosting fundraising activities, sponsoring programs and services, and increasing awareness of the library’s community role.
Past projects of the Friends include raising money for programs, campaigning for the bond election that funded a new library, and helping with the site selection and design process. Membership offers residents ways to share their views, donate time, and lend talents to make the Snoqualmie Library the best it can be.
Annual membership costs $5 for individuals and $10 for families, and entitles members to book sale previews.
To learn more, call (425) 888-1223, and ask for Michele or Irene.
Meetings are held quarterly at the Snoqualmie Library.
