The Snoqualmie City Council unanimously approved its six-year transportation plan on Monday, July 13. Approval of the plan was required to qualify city projects for federal funds.
The six-year plan is part road map, part wish list — not all projects in the list are funded. The plan includes a new Tokul Road roundabout, several phases of road work as part of a new pedestrian-friendly downtown Snoqualmie, replacement of two old wooden bridges on Meadowbrook Way and a complete reconstruction of Newton Street.
