Last Thursday, March 16, at 11 a.m. Snoqualmie Police were called to the 7500 block of Huckleberry Way SE where a suspicious white man was reported to have taken a package from the front steps of a home. The caller who witnessed the incident reported that the man simply walked up to the home, took the package and walked away.

The caller also gave police a detailed description of the man and officers were able to locate him, as he was getting into his vehicle near Fisher Creek Park. Police arrested the man, a Snoqualmie resident, and booked him into the Issaquah Jail on theft charges. The package was recovered.

The Snoqualmie Police Department encourages everyone to call 911 immediately when witnessing suspicious behavior.
