The city of Snoqualmie has formally terminated Police Chief Brian Lynch after he was put on administrative leave in February.
Snoqualmie terminated Lynch on April 10 after an external investigation found “sustained violations” of city personnel policies and Snoqualmie Police Department standards of conduct, according to a news release.
“We are committed to maintaining a workplace free from discrimination and harassment for all,” Mayor Katherine Ross said in the news release.
Ross added that Captain Gary Horejsi will continue to be the interim police chief while the city finds a permanent replacement.
“Our focus remains on serving the community with integrity and respect during this transition,” she said.
