Snoqualmie Valley School District Superintendent Joel Aune received a vote of confidence from his school board Thursday, Aug. 18.
Board President Dan Popp announced to the large audience of teachers assembled that the district has agreed to renew Aune’s contract through 2014. Specific details have not been settled yet, but the board approved the contract renewal.
“We want the community to know we have full confidence in Mr. Aune,” Popp said.
Board member Marci Busby was absent from the meeting for family reasons, but Popp said she also supported the decision.
