An 18-year-old Snoqualmie man was badly injured Saturday night, Aug. 27, in a rollover accident on the North Fork Road.
According to reports from the King County Sheriff’s Office, the teen was one of six passengers riding in a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup driven by a 17-year-old Fall City boy.
At about 10:45 p.m. Saturday, the group was headed north toward Bear Mountain for a party along the North Fork Road, National Forest Service Road 5700. The truck left the roadway near milepost 11.2, rolled over and went more than 50 feet down an embankment, striking a tree.
The Snoqualmie teen was critically injured, and the driver was also hurt, reports state. One of the other teens in the car called for help, and friends took him in their car to the bottom of North Fork Road, where an aid car met them, taking him on to Overlake Hospital in Bellevue. He was later taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The driver was treated at an unidentified hospital and released. The other occupants of the vehicle were not injured.
