The city of Snoqualmie’s recent town hall meeting presentations will be offered again on Wednesday, June 30, this time at Cascade View Elementary School, 34816 S.E. Ridge Street on Snoqualmie Ridge.
Citizens will have another opportunity to vote real-time at the meeting on the topic of “Pavement, Pipes and Parks: Preventing an Infrastructure Crisis.” Participants at this interactive town hall will learn about the state of the city’s infrastructure, what’s needed now, what can wait, potential costs, and revenue sources.
At 6:30 p.m. the evening will start with a Root Beer Float Social, with root beer provided by Snoqualmie Falls Brewery & Taproom and ice cream provided by the Ridge Supermarket. City departments will present exhibits of their services and projects. The first 50 people to arrive will receive handheld voting devices to use during the presentations.
At 7 p.m. the Town Hall Meeting will begin with presentations by Mayor Matt Larson, Public Works Director Dan Marcinko, Parks Director Gwen Voelpel and Interim Finance Officer Rob Orton. The evening will conclude with door prize drawings.
