The Snoqualmie Valley Hospital has expanded its services, opening a new urgent care center on the Ridge.
The Snoqualmie Ridge Urgent Care Center, located at 35020 SE Kinsey Street in Snoqualmie, is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and takes walk-in patients with non-emergency health care conditions.
“Between the hospital and the urgent care, we are hoping to shorten the trip times for those people needing care, especially if they are coming down from Snoqualmie Pass or up from Fall City,” said Sherry Jennings, a hospital spokesperson.
Jennings said the hospital wanted to provide another option in the Valley so that residents in need of care no longer have to drive outside of the area to see a provider.
The facility is a full service urgent care with an onsite lab. Starting in March, it will also offer X-rays. Other services include casting and splinting, treatments for burns, asthma and infections, blood tests and tests for pregnancy and STDs. The center does not perform COVID-19 testing.
The urgent care’s grand opening celebration was delayed due to COVID-19, but Jennings said they plan to celebrate with a ribbon cutting sometime in March.
