Police, sheriff’s deputies and fire departments in the Snoqualmie Valley responded to the following calls last week:
Snoqualmie Police
Monday, Aug. 17
Theft: At 6:43 p.m. the Snoqualmie Police Department received a report of a car break-in in the 38000 block of Southeast Northern Street. The reporter said his work van had been broken into on the previous Thursday.
Suspended license: At 6:15 p.m., a Snoqualmie police officer stopped a white 1998 Toyota in the 8000 block of Railroad Avenue Southeast. The 30-year-old, female driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.
Friday, Aug. 14
DUI: At 11:45 p.m., a Snoqualmie police officer stopped a red 2003 Toyota pickup truck at the intersection of Railroad Avenue Southeast and Southeast Delta Street. The police officer had watched the vehicle drift in and out of its lane. The 57-year-old, female driver was arrested after failing sobriety tests.
King County Sheriff’s Office
Friday, Aug. 21
Larceny: At 8:15 p.m., a King County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a reported larceny at the intersection of Winery Road and Southeast 99th Street. A car window had reportedly been smashed and items worth more than $250 were stolen, the victim told the officer.
Thursday, Aug. 20
Lawn mover thief: At 5:43 p.m., a King County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a reported larceny in the 900 block of Bendigo Boulevard North. A trailer with a lawn mower in it was reported as stolen.
Friday, Aug. 14
Residential burglary: At 2:28 a.m., the King County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an attempted residential burglary. The suspect had tried to pry open a door, and punched and bit the victim.

Thursday, Aug. 20
Too good to be true: At 11:48 a.m., a citizen at the 26200 block of Northeast Stephens Street discussed having received an offer of $50,000 in exchange for sending $5,000 to New York. The officer suggested avoiding the offer as a possible scam.
Tuesday, Aug. 18
Felony warrant: At 11:46 p.m., an officer stopped a car near 275th Avenue and Northeast 140th Court and arrested the passenger for a felony escape custody warrant.
Trespassing: At 8:52 a.m., police were called to a home at the 4,000 block of McKinley Street on a report of two men trespassing inside. Both men were arrested.
Sunday, Aug. 16
Egg vandalism: At 9:28 p.m., a resident at the 18300 block of Northeast 146th Street reported his house being egged. An officer arrived and saw eggs splattered on the front of the house. It was the fourth egging in the past two weeks.
Saturday, Aug. 15
Teens drinking alcohol: At 4:45 p.m., officers responded to a citizen complaint about trash and drunken teens spoiling a skating area on Stossel Avenue. Police expanded their foot patrols and found a gaggle of teens drinking alcohol. Two teens were arrested. A search found marijuana and a glass pipe. One adult and two teens were allowed to leave, while the other two were transported to Duvall Police Department for booking.
Hit and run: At 12:59 p.m., officers were contacted by a citizen reporting that his vehicle had been hit while he was driving in the 200 block of Big Rock Road. The other vehicle, from North Carolina, kept going.

Wednesday, Aug. 19
Fall: At 3:44 a.m., firefighters responded to a 70-year-old woman who had fallen. She was treated and transported to Overlake Hospital.
Tuesday, Aug. 18
Girl falls: At 5:20 p.m., firefighters received a walk-in call at the fire station for a two-month old girl who had fallen. She was given an exam and was released to her mother.
Breathing problem: At 6:58 p.m., firefighters responded to a man in his 80s who was experiencing shortness of breath. The man refused further treatment.
Car accident: At 9:48 p.m., firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident. The driver was not injured and was left in the custody of the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Monday, Aug. 17
Belly pains: At 5:52 p.m., firefighters responded to a 53-year-old man who had abdomen pain. He was treated and transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center by private ambulance.
Hurt leg: At 6:25 p.m., firefighters responded to a 60-year-old woman who had a leg injury. She was treated and transported to the Issaquah Swedish Emergency Clinic via the Fall City aid car.
Ankle injury: At 8:11 p.m., firefighters responded to a 47-year-old woman who had an ankle injury. She was treated and transported to Issaquah Swedish Emergency Clinic via the Fall City aid car.
Sunday, Aug. 16
Faintness: At 4:36 p.m., firefighters responded to a 90-year-old woman who was feeling faint. She was also seen by a paramedic unit from Bellevue Fire Department. The woman was treated and transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center by the medic unit.
Saturday, Aug. 15
Cut leg: At 12:43 p.m., firefighters responded to a 55-year-old man who had a laceration on his leg. He was given an exam and was driven to the Issaquah Swedish Emergency Clinic via a private vehicle.

Wednesday, Aug. 19
Medical call: At 5:33 p.m., Snoqualmie emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and Bellevue paramedics responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to Eastside Group Health by Snoqualmie EMTs.
Medical call: At 8:01 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center by a private ambulance.
Tuesday, Aug. 18
Fire: At noon, Snoqualmie firefighters responded to a stump fire on the trail behind Osprey Court.
