Thursday, Feb. 10

Parking lot DUI: At 1:27 a.m., police received a report of a man driving into a parked vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the 500 block of East North Bend Way. The man, who appeared intoxicated, then passed out.

Saturday, Feb. 5

Car Prowl: At 2:33 p.m., a caller reported that someone had broken into his vehicle in the 700 block of 10th Street. The vehicle had been unlocked, but was parked in the driveway. The victim said the only item stolen was the faceplate to his stereo. Police were unable to determine a suspect by fingerprinting.

Tailgate Gone: At 3:25 p.m., police were called to a partial vehicle theft. Someone had stolen the tailgate from a pickup truck parked in the driveway of a home in the 1000 block of Southeast 11th Place. The victim estimated the gate, which lifts off the truck without requiring any tools, had been removed between midnight and 5 a.m.

Friday, Feb. 4

Vandalism: At 9:05 a.m. a caller reported that a fence around an apartment complex in the 200 block of Second Street had been damaged, possibly kicked down. The victim commented that there was an ongoing problem with a group of people loitering behind the fence.

Sunday, Feb. 6

furnace malfunction: At 10:41 p.m., an officer joined the Snoqualmie Fire Department in responding to a burning smell coming from a home. They found a faulty furnace.

Wednesday, Feb. 2

Early Car Prowl: At 4 a.m., a man called police to report a theft from his vehicle that had just occurred in the 33800 block of Odell Street. He said he’d parked his vehicle in his driveway and locked it. He was awakened by the sound of his car horn, and when he looked outside, the console light was on. The thief took a laptop and case from the floor of the car.

Tuesday, Feb. 1

Off-Duty Catch: At about 1 p.m., an off-duty officer recognized a driver in a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 7900 block of Railroad Avenue as a man he’d previously arrested for driving under the influence. He suspected the driver had a suspended license and contacted another officer to confirm that. It was suspended, and a citation was issued to the driver by mail.

Monday, Jan. 31

Speeding Alien: At 6:45 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a blue 1990 Nissan driving an estimated 45 mph in a 30-mph zone on Snoqualmie Parkway, near Southeast 96th Street. He stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver who had no driver’s license, but a Mexico ID card. The officer arrested the driver, who later admitted that the ID was fake, and he was an illegal alien. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement arrived to take custody of the driver for deportation.

Wednesday, Feb. 9

Fever: At 7:35 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Sorenson Street for a woman with a fever.

Tuesday, Feb. 8

Medical call: At 9:36 a.m., Snoqualmie emergency medical technicians (EMTs) were dispatched to Mount Si High School for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then left in care of school nurse on scene.

Monday, Feb 7

Alarm: At 9:37 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Mount Si High School for a fire alarm tripped as a prank. It was reset.

Broken hand: At 6:58 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to Pickering Court for a 27-year-old woman with a broken hand. She was transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie’s aid car.

Sunday, Feb. 6

Medical call: At 3:21 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs and Bellevue Paramedics responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the hospital by Bellevue paramedics.

Medical call: At 5:50 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. Multiple patients were treated and then left in care at the scene.

Smoky smell: At 10:32 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the Snoqualmie Ridge area for the smell of smoke in a residence. After investigation, it was determined that the smoke was coming from an overheated furnace motor.

Saturday, Feb. 5

Smoky smell: At 8:16 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to the Ridge Supermarket for a smell of smoke. They found that a light ballast had overheated.

Wednesday, Feb. 9

Belly pain: At 11:38 a.m., fire crews responded to the 26500 block of Southeast 15th Street for a report of a 40-year-old man with abdominal pain.

Monday, Feb. 7

Finger cut off: At 9:35 a.m., fire crews responded to the 90 block of 290 Avenue Southeast for a report of a 48-year-old man whose finger had been amputated. He was taken to a local hospital.

Friday, Feb. 4

Fall: At 9:22 a.m., fire crews responded to a report of 54-year-old man falling on Southeast 42nd Street. Firefighterss found the man, who had alcohol on his breath. He was evaluated and taken home by fire crews to stay with his brother.

Thursday, Feb. 3

Breathing problem: At 8:57 a.m., fire crews had an 89-year-old woman walk into the fire station, complaining of shortness of breath. Firefighters helped her, and she was left with a friend.

Chest pain: At 6:11 p.m., fire crews responded to the 1500 block of West Snoqualmie River Road for a 70-year-old man with chest pain. He was taken to a local hospital.
