SNOQUALMIE FIRE DEPARTMENT
Tuesday, Dec. 8
Nosebleed: At 1:36 a.m., Snoqualmie emergency medical technicians (EMTs) were dispatched to Silent Creek Avenue for a 6-year-old boy with an uncontrolled nosebleed. He was evaluated and taken to Swedish Medical Center in Issaquah by his father.
Monday, Dec. 7
Icy hydrant: At 7:58 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Stellar Way Southeast for a hydrant that had maliciously been opened. Snoqualmie Police and Public Works were dispatched to sand the iced roadway.
Sunday, Dec. 6
Medical call: At 12:13 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs and Bellevue paramedics responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital by Snoqualmie EMTs.
Intoxication: At noon, Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a woman who was intoxicated.
Diabetes: At 1:01 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Northern Street for a diabetic woman.
Thursday, Dec. 3
Alarm: At 3:32 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the Uncorked Wine Bar for an automatic fire alarm. After investigation, it was determined that it was a false alarm and the system was reset.
Medical call: At 3:56 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Parkway for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and left at the scene.

Sunday, Dec. 6
Gas theft: At 1:06 p.m., a woman drove to the North Bend 76 gas station in a dark blue Audi sedan. She pumped $46.62 worth of gas and drove away without paying. Deputies don’t know if it was on purpose or an accident. The woman was in her 30s, with dyed black hair, wearing a dark winter coat and black pants.
Saturday, Dec. 5
Odd customer: At 9:45 a.m, an 18-year-old woman came into the North Bend Seattle Sun Tan store complaining about a man following her from work. Within minutes of her arrival, the man drove up and parked in front of the salon. He went inside, asked a few questions and requested a tour of the facilities. During his tour, he made a sexually explicit comments to an employee and asked technical questions that an average customer would not ask. After the tour, he stared at a female customer for a few minutes and left once a male customer came into the salon. He was reported to police, who found him a few stores away. The man admitted to the sexual comment but denied following the woman to the salon. Officers gave him a trespass warning letter, which he signed.
Break-in: Between 4 and 6:30 p.m., a car in the uppermost lot at the Summit at Snoqualmie ski resort was burgled. The thief stole an old pair of shoes, but did not take driver’s iPod or cell phone. A mini MagLight flashlight was left behind on the passenger seat. Officers took the light for evidence.
Thursday, Dec. 3
Truck theft: A North Bend man left his Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck parked in the back yard of his house. It was unlocked and may have had spare keys inside. At 8:30 a.m. the next day, he noticed the truck was gone. He called his friends to see if it was a prank, but no one knew about it. Even though the truck had a loud exhaust, the owner did not hear it start or leave. No broken glass was found.
FALL CITY FIRE DISTRICT
Wednesday, Dec. 9
Alarm: At 2:34 p.m., Fall City Fire Department and Eastside Fire and Rescue responded to the 29700 block of High Point Way for a commercial fire alarm. Water was actively flowing from the bottom of the building roll-up doors. Firefighters forced entry and determined the cause of the alarm to be from a broken water line. They shut off the water to the sprinkler system, and performed salvage operations to prevent any further damage to the building.
Alarm: At 2:40 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 37000 block of Southeast 54th Place for a residential fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was a burst sprinkler. Firefighters assisted the homeowner with cleanup to prevent any further damage.
Burn: At 3:41 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 37000 block of Southeast 54th Place for an illegal burn. An air quality burn ban went into effect as of Dec. 9 throughout King County, and does not allow outdoor burning of any kind.
Choking: At 7:14 p.m., emergency medical technicians (EMTs) responded to the 4200 block of 332nd Avenue for a 55-year-old woman who was choking. She was evaluated at the scene and transported to a local hospital by the fire department.
Monoxide: At 9:46 p.m., Fall City crews responded to the 30900 block of Southeast 43rd Court for a residential carbon monoxide alarm that was sounding. The homeowners had already evacuated the residence. Firefighters used multi-gas detectors to investigate the residence, but nothing was found. They also recommended replacing faulty carbon monoxide/smoke detectors, and installed two new smoke detectors in their place. A temporary carbon monoxide detector was also left on scene for the residents to monitor over the next couple days to ensure nothing else happened.
Tuesday, Dec. 8
Flooding: At 10:50 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 4200 block of 324th Avenue Southeast for minor flooding. After arrival on the scene, it was determined that the flooding was due to a broken water pipe. Firefighters shut off the flow at the meter and vacuumed up the remaining water to prevent any further damage to the residence.
Monday, Dec. 7
Home fire: At 12:10 a.m., Fall City Fire Department, Snoqualmie Fire Department, and Eastside Fire and Rescue responded to the 34600 block of Fall City-Snoqualmie Road for a residential structure fire. After arrival on the scene, they found that a fire in the woodstove had spread to the roof. Multiple units worked together to quickly extinguish the fire. A fire investigator was called out to help find what caused the fire.
Sunday, Dec. 6
Blood sugar: At At 1:37 p.m., Fall City and Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the 38300 block of Southeast Northern Street for a 38-year-old woman experiencing a hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) episode. She was evaluated and treated at the scene. Snoqualmie Fire Department remained with the patient and released Fall City Fire Department from the call, allowing them to go available in their local area.
Friday, Dec. 4
Chest pain: At 6:57 a.m., EMTs responded to the 4300 block of Preston Fall City Road Southeast, for a 52-year-old man who was experiencing chest pain. He was evaluated at the scene, and transported to a local hospital by a private ambulance.
Stroke: At 9:52 p.m., EMTs responded to the 2500 block of Neal Rd SE for an 83 year old male who was experiencing stroke symptoms. The patient was evaluated at the scene, and transported to a local hospital by a private ambulance.
Overflow: At 10:50 p.m., Fall City firefighters responded to the 33900 block of Lake Alice Road Southeast for water overflowing from a resident’s pond onto the roadway. Due to the freezing weather conditions the water was beginning to ice over creating a safety hazard. Firefighters dug a trench to divert the water away from the roadway, and into a nearby ditch.
Thursday, Dec. 3
Pains: At 3:38 a.m., EMTs responded to the 35600 block of Southeast Fish Hatchery Road for a 76-year-old man who was experiencing abdominal pain. He was evaluated at the scene, and transported to a local hospital by a private ambulance.
