Struck in the chest, sports injury: Weekly Snoqualmie Valley firefighter blotter

On Wednesday, Sept. 21, Snoqualmie emergency medical technicians (EMTs) responded to a 34-year-old woman who was struck in the chest by a neighbor. She was evaluated and left at home.

Wednesday, Sept. 21

Struck in chest: At 2:07 p.m., Snoqualmie emergency medical technicians (EMTs) responded to a 34-year-old woman who was struck in the chest by a neighbor. She was evaluated and left at home.

Car accident: At 4:40 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident. Drivers and passengers were evaluated and transported to the hospital.

Tuesday, Sept. 20

In labor: At 3:19 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to a 20-year-old woman in labor. She was transported to the hospital.

Asthma: At 12:17 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to Mount SI High School for a 14-year-old boy having an asthma attack. He was evaluated, given some medication and left at the scene.

Medical problem: At 9:07 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a woman experiencing a medical problem. She was evaluated on-scene and refused further care. She was left with casino staff.

Monday, Sept. 19

Fall: At 5:17 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to a 6-year old boy who had fallen from play equipment. He was evaluated and transported to the hospital.

Car fire: At 8:04 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to a possible vehicle fire on Snoqualmie Parkway. Upon arrival, they found car sitting on the side of the road with no fire.

Friday, Sept. 16

Medical problems: At 2:51 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to Snoqualmie Elementary School for a woman experiencing a medical problem. She was evaluated and transported to the hospital by private ambulance.

Diabetic problem: At 6:44 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to Douglas Avenue Southeast and Southeast Snoqualmie Parkway for a man experiencing a diabetic problem. He was treated on-scene and given a ride home by Snoqualmie’s aid car.

In custody: At 7:44 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Casino for an evaluation of a woman in custody with the King County Sheriff’s Office. She was evaluated and transported to the hospital by private ambulance.

Sports injury: At 7:49 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs along with Eastside Fire & Rescue were dispatched to Mount Si High School for an injured football player during the game. He was evaluated and transported to the hospital as a precaution by private ambulance.

Fall injury: At 8:29 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the stands at Mount Si High School for a 12-year-old girl with a facial injury after tripping on the steps. She was evaluated and transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie’s aid car.

Sunday, Sept. 11

Car fire: At 4:49 p.m., fire crews responded to the 4400 block of 328 Place for a car fire. The fire was extinguished.

Saturday Sept. 10

Cut arm: At 8:10 p.m., aid crews responded to the 33100 block of 43rd Street for a 20-year-old man with an arm laceration. He was transported to the hospital.

Friday, Sept. 9

Car over bank: At 4:50 p.m., aid crews responded to 50000 block of Grouse Ridge Road for a car over the bank. All passengers were out of the car. One patient was taken to the hospital for a head injury.
