Students at a Snoqualmie elementary school will test their math and reading skills next month as part of a national random assessment.

Students at a Snoqualmie elementary school will test their math and reading skills next month as part of a national random assessment.

On Feb. 7, fourth grade students at Cascade View Elementary School will take part in the National Assessment of Educational Progress. This voluntary test evaluates a national random sample of students on their knowledge of specific curriculum areas.

Results of the nationwide testing will be reported in “The Nation’s Report Card,” a publication of the National Center for Educational Statistics.
