Police and fire agencies in the Snoqualmie Valley responded to the following calls:

North Bend Sheriff’s Substation

Friday, Feb. 7

Firewood heist: At 10:06 p.m., a business in the 400 block of Southwest Mount Si Boulevard reported a theft and the current location of the theives, whom the caller had followed. The suspects were two men, seen taking bundles of firewood from outside the business and driving off without paying for them. They were not at the location specified when police arrived.

Took the phone, left the drink: At 2:08 p.m., a store employee in the 300 block of Southwest Mount Si Boulevard reported a theft. A suspect apparently stole a $650 iPhone from the counter when the clerk left it briefly. However, the suspect left behind a Red Bull drink can, from which police were able to take fingerprints.

Sunday, Feb. 9

Assault: At 1:30 a.m., police were called to a business in the 300 block of West North Bend Way for a report of assault and malicious mischief.

Monday, Feb. 10

TV check-out: At 3:34 p.m., a business in the 200 block of North Bend Way West reported a theft. A motel guest had taken the TV out of his room when he left.

Fall City Fire District

Friday, Feb. 7

Chest pain: At 11:39 a.m., firefighters responded to a 32-year-old man who was experiencing chest discomfort. He was given an exam and transported to Swedish Hospital at Issaquah via the Fall City Fire aid car.

Chest pain: At 8:33 p.m., firefighters responded to a 35-year-old woman with chest pain. She was given an exam and was transported to Swedish Hospital at  Issaquah via privately owned vehicle.

Sunday, Feb. 9

Burn complaint: At 2:16 p.m., firefighters responded to a burn complaint. The owner extinguished the fire and a notice of violation was given.

Tuesday, Feb. 11

Alarm: At 10 a.m., firefighters responded to a residential automatic fire alarm. Before reaching the scene, the resident had reset the alarm system.

Wednesday, Feb. 12

Short breath: At 6:33 p.m., firefighters responded to a 55-year-old woman having shortness of breath. She was treated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital via the Fall City Fire aid car.

Snoqualmie Fire Calls

Friday, Feb. 7

Broken pipe: Snoqualmie firefighters were called to Railroad Avenue Southeast for a broken water pipe. Crews assisted the homeowners with locating the water shut‐off valve.

Broken pipe: Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Kinsey Street for a broken water pipe. Nobody was home; so firefighters shut off the water supply at the meter.

Saturday, Feb. 8

Alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm on Kendall Peak. The alarm was set off by a faulty furnace.

Auto accident: Snoqualmie firefighters responded with Eastside Fire and Rescue units to assist at a fatality auto accident on Southeast Lake Dorothy Road.

Sunday, Feb. 9

Broken pipe: Snoqualmie firefighters were called to Railroad Avenue for a broken water pipe. Crews assisted the homeowner with locating the water shut‐off valve.

Wednesday, Feb. 12

Smoke: Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Casino for smoke in the area. After investigation, crews were unable to locate any smoke in the area.

Alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to Echo Glen Children’s Center for an automatic fire alarm. While en‐route, the crew was notified that it was a false alarm and was requested to cancel.

Accident: Snoqualmie firefighters were called to a single car accident on Tokul Road. There were no injuries and the scene was turned over to the King County Sheriff.

Medical calls: In addition to the above calls, Snoqualmie firefighters responded to eight (8) medical aid calls, bringing the total 2014 annual call number to 109.
