Residents of all ages can lean about the elk in the Snoqualmie Valley at a free tour, 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at the Meadowbrook Farm Interpretive Center in North Bend.
Participants can learn about the Meadowbrook herd, why they are here, what they do, what their favorite foods are, and other fun facts.
Topics covered include animal skull science, telemetry, tracking, population dynamics and elk behavior.
The tour is jointly sponsored by Meadowbrook Farm Preservation Association and the Upper Snoqualmie Valley Elk Management Group.
Dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes for walking in the woods.
