The Snoqualmie Tribe store, Paddle, presents the first-ever Paddle Native American Art Show, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Snoqualmie Tribal Center, 8130 Railroad Ave. in downtown Snoqualmie.
Native American painter John Romero saw a need for a show to highlight Northwest Native American artists and authentic artwork. This event will showcase pieces by Romero, Terrance Guardipee, Andrew Morrison, Rudy Romero and Everett White.
There will be performances during the show by Peter Ali and the Snoqualmie Tribe dancers. Paddle welcomes anyone attending the show to visit the store to experience the hallmark of Native American culture. The store has a variety of Native American arts and crafts, including custom embroidery and silk-screening, cedar hats and baskets, carved masks, jewelry, drums, a children’s corner, and more.
