Two North Bend stores hold summer food drives

The North Bend QFC and Bartell Drugs are each participating in food drives this month, to benefit Food Lifeline. The program reports greater needs in the summer, when children have less access to school breakfast and lunch programs.

The North Bend QFC and Bartell Drugs are each participating in food drives this month, to benefit Food Lifeline. The program reports greater needs in the summer, when children have less access to school breakfast and lunch programs.

QFC will accept food donations for the rest of the month at all stores and at Fred Meyer stores in Washington and Oregon. Cash donations can be made at Fred Meyer or online at NWFarmersFightingHunger.org.

Bartell Drugs hosts its annual community food drive through June 27.
