• Mount Si Fish and Game club’s Annual Kids Trout Derby is from daybreak to 10 a.m. at the ponds located behind the Snoqualmie Police Department, 34825 Douglas Ave. S.E. No registration necessary; cost is free. Fish weigh in is 6:30 to 10 a.m. sharp. Children ages six to 14 may compete.
• Fall City Library opening day, with a 10 a.m. ribbon cutting ceremony, a 1 p.m. performance of the “Musicians of Bremen” by Last Leaf Theater for Kids, and a 3 p.m. Latino music performance by Los Flacos.
