Find your favorite photo of the past year and enter it now in the ninth annual Valley Record reader photo contest.

Featuring categories for Scenic, People and Animals, the photo contest highlights the best work of local amateur photographers. The People category includes portraits of locals. Animals is for pets and livestock with real personality. Scenic is, naturally, of the best local vistas.

Entry limit is three per photographer. Photos should be at least 72 dpi, and 14 by 11 inches.

The deadline to enter is 6 p.m. Friday, April 22. Submit entries to editor@valleyrecord.com. Winners will be announced May 5.
