Would you like to share your love of reading with someone who cannot use the library? The King County Library System Traveling Library Center, or TLC, provides services to eligible King County residents who are unable to visit their community libraries.
Volunteers agree to select, deliver and return library materials for one homebound library patron at least once per month for one year. The time commitment is two to four hours each month.
TLC volunteers must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation to deliver materials. Training is provided and takes about one hour.
For more information about volunteering, call Susan LaFantasie at (425) 369-3235 or 1-877-905-2008. An overview of the TLC program is available online at www.kcls.org.
