Hopelink’s Eastside Literacy and other programs are always looking for volunteers comfortable communicating in English to help people in need in the Snoqualmie Valley.
Hopelink’s Sno-Valley center, located in Carnation, needs volunteers to pick up donated groceries at area stores on weekday mornings before noon, deliver them to the food bank and assist with distributing food to clients during the food bank, held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays of the month. Helpers are also needed to help at the reception desk with answering phones and greeting people who come to the center, help sort, organize and hang up clothing and other donations.
Training for all volunteer positions is provided. Volunteers must be comfortable communicating in English.
