Voters approve levies with big margins

All of the school levies on ballots in the Snoqualmie Valley appear to be massing with more than 60 percent support in the Feb. 11 election. In the first round of counting in this all-mail election, Snoqualmie Valley's $16 million Prop. 1, has 4,213 yes votes to 2,240 against. Prop. 2, the district's $2.7 million technology levy, had even stronger support, with 4,312 votes in favor, 2,147 against. Prop. 1's approval is at 65.3 percent, while Prop. 2 has won 66.8 percent approval.

All of the school levies on ballots in the Snoqualmie Valley appear to be passing with more than 60 percent support in the Feb. 11 election.

In the first round of counting in this all-mail election, Snoqualmie Valley’s $16 million Prop. 1, has 4,213 yes votes to 2,240 against. Prop. 2, the district’s $2.7 million technology levy, had even stronger support, with 4,312 votes in favor, 2,147 against. Prop. 1’s approval is at 65.3 percent, while Prop. 2 has won 66.8 percent approval.

Riverview School District, in the lower Valley, also ran two levies, a program and operations issue for $8.1 million, and a technology levy for $1.8 million. Prop. 1, the program and operations levy, got 2,403 yes votes, 1,423 no votes, for a 62.8 percent approval. Prop. 2 for technology got 2,473 votes in favor, 1,360 against, for a 64.5 percent approval.
