June 2 – June 18 – Valley Center Stage presents “The Clean House”
“The Clean House” is a whimsical and touching romantic comedy about love, loss, change and redemption. It takes place in the Connecticut home of a married couple, Lane and Charles, who are both doctors.
The show runs every Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2:30 at the Sallal Grange in North Bend. Tickets are online at valleycenterstage.org.
June 3, – Duvall Days
The 63rd annual Duvall Days Festival will kick off with a Grand Parade on Duvall’s main street. There will be live music, vendor booths, beer gardens, play zones, contests, fireworks and more. For more info, visit duvalldays.org.
June 4 – Opt Outside 5k (North Bend)
The Blake Pottle Foundation is hosting their second annual 5k. The foundation benefits local families dealing with cancer diagnosis and research. The event includes a 1k kids run and a 5k family run/walk, followed by post-race activities at Meadowbrook Farm. Info: blakepottlefoundation.org.
June 6 – Carnation Farmers Market, Opening Day.
The Carnation Farmers Market at Tolt McDonald Park returns June 6 between 3 to 7 p.m. The farmers market runs every Tuesday from now until August.
June 7 – Beginner Embroidery Workshop, hosted by Fall City Art
Join Fall City Arts at the Fall City Library for a beginner embroidery workshop. The class is free and all materials are supplied. Registration is required. Learn more and register online at fallcityarts.org/embroidery
June 8 – North Bend Farmers Market, Opening Day.
The North Bend Farmers Market at Si View Park returns June 8 between 4 to 8 p.m. The farmers market runs every Thursday until Sept. 7
June 10 – Fall City Day
The 50th annual Fall City Day Festival is returning June 10. The event will feature a parade, a 5k run, arts, crafts and food booths, live music, watermelon eating contest, dunk take and more. Visit fall city.org for more information.
June 17 – Carnation Block Party
Morgan Henley Presents and The Lee Arts Foundation will Carnation Block Party on June 17. The free event includes seven musical acts, food and craft vendors and morning yoga. The free event runs from noon to 9 p.m. at the Tolt Commons.
