Monday, March 28
Reckless driving: At 7:59 p.m., a caller reported a recklessly-driven truck in the 46000 block of Southeast North Bend Way, North Bend. The caller said there were three people, possibly teens in the dual-wheel black-and-white Ford F250, and they’d nearly caused several accidents when they passed Truck Town. The vehicle was speeding, swerving between lanes and hitting the curb. Police could not locate the truck, and the reported license plate number was not associated with a vehicle.

Stolen rental: At 12:27 p.m., a caller at Northeast Eighth Street and Thrasher Avenue Northeast, North Bend, reported the theft of her grey Ford F150, in progress. She said she’d loaned the driver the truck, owned by Enterprise Rental, and he hadn’t returned it. She’d been trying to get it back when she saw him driving it. Police contacted the driver and arrested him, for driving without a license. The rental company will pick up the truck from the town yard.
Theft or prank: At 6:26 p.m., a caller in the 7700 block of Center Boulevard Southeast, Snoqualmie, reported his black Acura had been stolen from the parking lot where he left it. He still had the keys. Police did not locate the vehicle, but the caller later reported that he’d found the car nearby, idling. Someone had rifled through the items in the car, but there was no damage to the vehicle.
Tuesday, April 1
April Fool’s?: At 12:55 a.m., a caller in the 7800 block of Baker Avenue Southeast, Snoqualmie, told police that someone had just called his daughter, telling her to “come outside, someone hit your car really hard.” The parent was suspicious, and looked outside but did not see anyone. Police investigated and found no damage to the daughter’s car.
Scared: At 10:41 a.m., a woman in the 6000 block of Cascade Lane Southeast, Snoqualmie, called to report a burglary in progress. She said someone came into her house through the front door and was yelling. She said she was calling from a secured area, but then the phone line went dead. The police also received alarm notifications from the home. They responded, and met the fire department, which had received a medical alarm from the home. No one answered the door, so firefighters breached the door. The homeowner, hidden in a bathroom closet, then called 911 again, thinking someone was breaking into her home to burglarize it. Firefighters broke three more doors before locating the home-owner, scared but uninjured, in the closet.
Wednesday, April 2
Drug check: At 10:10 a.m., the manager of a business in the 1400 block of 468th Avenue Southeast called police, saying she’d just received a phone call about drugs being found in one of the business rooms. Police responded and during the investigation, determined that another person in the business had an outstanding warrant. They arrested the offender.
Thursday, April 3
Assault over parking: At 7:36 a.m., a caller in the 1200 block of North Bend Boulevard, North Bend, reported that she’d just been assaulted. She said she’d parked her car in what she thought was a designated spot for the business she wanted, then a man from a neighboring business came out and pushed her to the ground, calling her obscene names. Police responded to find that the woman didn’t need medical aid and the man had gone back into the business he’d come from.

Minstrel: At 21:55 p.m., a caller reported seeing an intoxicated man walking down Southeast Cedar Falls Way, between North Bend Way and Mountain View Boulevard, North Bend. He appeared to be transient, was carrying a guitar and seemed to wander into the road at times. Police did not locate the wandering minstrel.

Fire alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters responded to a commercial fire alarm at a storage facility. The alarm was found to be false and the system was reset.
Monday, March 31
Alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm on Pinnacle Pl. Crews arrived to find technicians working on the system had accidentally set it off.
Tuesday, April 1
Alert alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Cascade Lane for a medical alert alarm.
Medical calls: In addition to the above calls, Snoqualmie firefighters responded to nine medical aid calls. bringing their total 2014 annual call number to 260.

Saturday, March 29
Fall: At 3:07 a.m., firefighters responded to a 59-year-old woman who fell. She was treated and transported to Swedish Hospital at Issaquah via the Fall City Fire aid car.
Car accident: At 10:05 a.m., firefighters responded to a single car motor vehicle accident. One patient was transported to Swedish Hospital at Issaquah via private ambulance.
Sunday, March 30
Overdose: At 6:56 p.m., firefighters responded to a reported overdose. One patient was also seen by a paramedic unit from Bellevue Fire. Department, and was treated and transported to Swedish Hospital at Issaquah via the medic unit.
Monday, March 31
Heart issue: At 12:04 p.m., firefighters responded to an 83-year-old woman with a heart issue; she was also seen by a paramedic unit from Bellevue Fire. The woman was treated and transported to Overlake Hospital via the medic unit.
Medical issue: At 12:48 p.m., firefighters responded to a 70-year-old man with uncontrolled bleeding. He was given an exam and left at home.
