Young Life of Snoqualmie raises $38,000 in annual banquet

Young Life of Snoqualmie Valley held its annual fundraising banquet, named “Branches” by one of the students, because the organization is “branching” out this year to reach children in the Valley.

Young Life of Snoqualmie Valley held its annual fundraising banquet, named “Branches” by one of the students, because the organization is “branching” out this year to reach children in the Valley.

The banquet was held Oct. 18 at the Salish Lodge, with more than 150 guests. Young Life staff performed a skit and 15 students shared testimonies.

Michelle Carnes, Snoqualmie Valley Young Life Area Director said, “Tonight was an amazing night full of laughter and happy tears.”

The event raised more than $38,000 for Young Life, now in its fifth year in Snoqualmie Valley. For information, visit www.svyl.younglife.org.
