Longtime Snoqualmie Valley native, Ed Lamb, passed away on July 1, 2017, at the age of 75 years.
Ed graduated from Mount Si High School in 1960. After marrying his high school sweetheart, Carol Erickson, in 1961 and attending Barber College in Seattle. Ed returned to Snoqualmie to work as the owner and operator of Ed’s Barber Shop. Ed and his wife, Carol, lived in the Snoqualmie Valley for nearly 60 years before retiring and moving to the family cabin in Easton, WA.
While living in Snoqualmie, Ed was heavily involved in the foundations of the valley’s youth sports, was a member of the Snoqualmie Planning Commission, and was a volunteer fireman for 39 years. During retirement Ed and his wife, Carol, enjoyed traveling, spending time in Arizona, and summers in Easton and Elma WA.
Ed is survived by Carol, his wife of 56 years; daughter, Barb Snyder and her husband Alan; son, Allan Lamb and his wife JoDee; and three grandchildren Adrianne Snyder, Haley Lamb, and Blake Lamb. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Elmus and Isabel Lamb and sister, Jan Sinnema.
A celebration of life is planned for August 26, 2017 at the Snoqualmie Valley Eagles 8200 Railroad Ave, Snoqualmie, WA 98065 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
