Ellen (Pickett) Stoddard born September 25, 1931 in Snoqualmie Washington, passed away peacefully, April 9, 2018. Ellen married Claude (Ted) Stoddard, her high school sweetheart in 1948 and shared 70 years of love and family.

Ellen enjoyed working for the Vancouver Public School District, as a classroom aid and in the school library. Ellen was an amazing wife and mother her passions included her family, traveling, reading, gardening, sewing and crafts.

Cherished by her surviving husband and six children, Claudia Peterson, Tony Stoddard, Barbara Stern, Bruce Stoddard, Kate Price, Ed Stoddard, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Osee and Hazel Pickett and her brother Donald Pickett.

Ellen’s faithful dedication extended to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church in Vancouver and the women’s auxiliary group. A private Mass will be said in her honor. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
