Eunice M. Roberts
Eunice M. Roberts, 94, went on to be with her Lord, on November 30, 2009 in Arlington, WA at the Regency Care Center where she had been for the past three years. She was born to Edward and Estella Shultz in Wellington, KS, April 10, 1915, but moved to the Pacific NW as a young child. She and her husband of seventy years, Glyndon C. Roberts, had lived in the upper Snoqualmie Valley for almost fifty years until his passing in 2003. Eunice retired as head cook from the Snoqualmie Valley School District in 1977. She is survived by three daughters: Sandee (Jack) Fox of La Grande, Oregon; Stephanie (Don) Thompson of Camano Island; and Susanna Roberts of Snohomish. Along with her daughters and their husbands, Eunice’s family includes 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. The family’s loving memories of her are highlighted by her great sense of humor, incredible culinary skills as well as her creative ability as a seamstress. Eunice was a hard worker who was also a foster parent and very active in any community in which she lived. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
