December 26, 1966 – November 10, 2021

On Wednesday, November 10, 2021, Kathy Tolleth McQueen passed away at age 54 of pneumonia. Kathy was born in Norco, California on December 26, 1966, to Fred Tolleth and MaryAnn Gomes Tolleth Haynes. Kathy was class of 1985 at Mt Si High School in North Bend, Washington, where she and her twin sister, Kristy, were proud Mt Si cheerleaders. Kathy married Larry Johnson and they had three children, Corey, Mitchell, and Lauren.

Kathy moved to Hawaii after visiting with Dane Giraldin there in 2016. Kathy called it “Paradise”. Her cousin, Grant Tolleth, and his wife, Sandy, helped Kathy settle into “Paradise” and Mitchell joined her later that year. Kathy was preceded in death by her twin sister, Kristy Tolleth, and her father, Fred Tolleth. Kathy is survived by her sons, Corey Tolleth and Mitchell Johnson; her daughter, Lauren Johnson; her mother, MaryAnn; her sister, Sandra Tolleth Laurence, and her brother, Jon Tolleth.

A memorial will take place at Olympic Sculpture Park in May of 2022.
