Kenneth John Schneider

Kenneth John Schneider, age 67, passed away at home on June 8, 2012.Ken was born on July 11, 1944 in Mobridge, South Dakota to John “Ring” and Blandina Paulina (Kirschenmann) Schneider. When he was five years old his parents moved their family to Washington State.On August 25, 1967 he married Miriam Pryor and they began 44 years of marriage. He served in the US Army and later worked as a diesel mechanic at several companies, including Weyerhaeuser, Dyad and MidMountain Contractors. He was a talented craftsman who built homes for his family and could undertake any project of related workmanship. His faith in Christ provided strength for this life. He loved his family and found immense joy spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Miriam, and four of their children including: Shari (Ted) Bates of Melissa, TX; Craig (Heidi) Schneider of Issaquah; Greta Schneider of Hermosa Beach, CA; and Anna (Bryan) Hulen of Seattle. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine siblings. He was predeceased by his father, mother and infant son, Samuel.
