Kim Reimer unexpectedly passed away on April 4, 2024. Kim was born on June 24, 1955 in Seattle, but grew up in North Bend. He was involved in sports from early childhood. He graduated from Mt. Si High School in 1973. Kim played football at UPS, basketball at Centralia College, and then focused on obtaining a degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from WSU. He further earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Seattle University. His goal, from a young age, was to be an FBI (DEA) Agent. He fulfilled this goal and retired following work related injuries.
Post retirement, Kim lived in Birch Bay, WA. He had a special way of collecting friends and retaining the friendships he built while growing up. He cared deeply for these people in his life.
Kim was pre-deceased by his father, Bob Reimer. Kim is survived by his mother, Margaret Reimer, his sister, Kathryn Villeneuve, her husband Russ, and their son Andrew and his wife, Kathryn.
A gathering to remember Kim will be held on June 22, 2024 at 12 noon at the residence of Leroy and Laurie Bergstrom. Their address is: 565 S.E. 10th Pl., North Bend, WA 98045
