Michael “Mike” Allen Baines of North Bend, Washington, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 61 on Sunday, April 18, 2021.

He was born on April 21, 1959, to Ronald and Phyllis Baines and was raised in Sierra Vista, Arizona, as the eldest of three siblings. He graduated from Buena High School in 1976. In 1980, Mike packed his bags and hit the road to Washington State. He was drawn to the weather and enjoyed all that the Pacific Northwest had to offer.

Mike was a well-respected employee at Snoqualmie Valley Transit and Mount Si Sports and Fitness. Mike is remembered for his quick wit, unfailing work ethic, and vast amount of knowledge on so many subjects. He enjoyed weightlifting, scuba diving, bowling, and cruises to Alaska. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis; his sister, Cathy; his son, Tommy, and daughter- in-law, Sunny; and grandchildren, Blakely and Cheyenne. Just days following Mike’s sudden passing, his father, Ron, passed away at the age of 87.
