December 18, 1969 – January 16, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Robert Stewart, who left us far too soon on January 16, 2025, at the age of 55 after a very brief and courageous battle with cancer. Mike was born on December 18, 1969, in Seattle, Washington, to Robert and Sharon Stewart. He was raised in Bothell, Washington, where he graduated from Inglemoor High School in 1988. Mike moved to North Bend, WA in 1999 where he raised his sons.

Mike was the proud father of 4 sons Tyler, Ryan, Jake and Kaleb. He shared Tyler, Ryan and Jake with Michelle (Masters) Randall and although their marriage ended, they remained friends and supportive of each other. He shared Kaleb with Wendy Wesson, they were committed to co-parenting and raising an outstanding son. Mike cherished his time with his sons, enjoying simple yet meaningful moments like cooking/baking, camping, having bonfires, working on house projects with Tyler & Ryan, taking Ryan & Jake to race motocross and coaching Kaleb’s soccer team.

Mike loved everything about becoming a grandpa. He lit up whenever he spent time with his granddaughter, Violet and his grandson, Bennett. His joy in their company was undeniable, and they brought a special light into his life. Mike was sure to always have Grandpa Mike cookies ready for Violet!

Mike held several jobs throughout his life, many of them centered around the construction industry, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep sense of pride in his craft. Most recently, Mike worked at Washington Water Damage, where he found a work family that supported him, especially during his final days. Mike’s sons would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Scott Russell and all the team members at Washington Water Damage for their kindness and support over the past month.

Mike is survived by his sons, Tyler Stewart (Sarah), Ryan Stewart (Emma), Jake Stewart (Lexi Johnson) and Kaleb Stewart; his grandchildren, Violet Stewart and Bennett Stewart; his parents Robert & Sharon Stewart, his sister, Teresa Wren (Dave); several nieces and nephews; his lifelong best friend, Doug Fisher, and many friends and extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held on March 8, 2025, from 1-4pm at North Fork Farm 43010 SE 79th St, Snoqualmie, WA. In lieu of flowers, please consider bringing a dessert to share while sharing fun memories of Mike.

Mike’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
