PAUL RAYMOND PAPERD

Paul Raymond Paperd was born in 1919 in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his sons David (Deborah) and Rex (Tawny) Paperd and his daughters Valerie (Dan) Dixon And Tina Boehne.

Paul knew God; A devout Catholic who enjoyed being a part of the Our Lady of Sorrows family in Snoqualmie. Paul lived with his son Rex and his wife, Tawny at the Fall City Wallaby Ranch. The family dog, Fawn, truly loved Dad and very much appreciated the forbidden snacks that Dad provided.

Paul was a life-time successful sales person. He enjoyed his senior years kibitzing with customers at Wilson Leather goods and was recognized for his daily sales records. He truly enjoyed the social aspect and worked until he was told he would have to learn the cash register. Not likely to happen!

Paul is loved by his sons, daughters, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who have appreciated his guidance and ongoing humor. They deeply appreciate a father who was there for them and provided a happy home. Later in life if there were a group of people around, you could count on him to be in there telling a story and bringing laughter.

He stayed active until his passing and enjoyed the support of community members. Snoqualmie transportation drove him to the grocery store, Bartells, and barbers to name a few. You managed to Cheer him and keep him vibrant. As a result at 98 he was out having fun – full of life. Thank you for helping him enjoy his later life! You were each precious to him and touched his heart in a loving way.

Paul is home now and we will treasure the memories that we have of him for a lifetime.

Remembrances should be made in Paul’s name to Our Lady of Sorrows in Snoqualmie, WA.

A funeral mass will be said at 11am, Thursday, April 5th at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Snoqualmie. A graveside committal with military honors will follow at Lower Hillside Cemetery in Issaquah.
