Thank you North Bend library patrons who donated used books throughout the year for our annual Friends of the Library book sale.

We also wish to thank those of you who helped set up the sale, the North Bend librarians who assisted us throughout the event and a very special thanks to everyone who purchased books during our two-week sale. It was a big success thanks to all of you.

The money from the book sale stays in the North Bend library and helps fund adult, teen and children’s programs throughout the year. An upcoming program, “The Fiddlers,” will be held at the North Bend library at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24. All programs are open to the public and free of charge. Please make plans to join us; we look forward to seeing you there.

We invite members old and new or anyone interested in becoming a member of our Friends of the Library group to please join us at our monthly meetings, which are held in the meeting room of the North Bend library at 10:30 a.m. the second Monday of each month.
