John E. Henault of Carnation died on Nov. 14 at age 62.
He was born Jan. 14, 1944, in Sterling, Mass., to the late Norman and Elizabeth Henault. He was raised on Cape Cod and enjoyed vacationing there with his wife later in his life.
John moved to the Snoqual-mie Valley in 1981. He had a rewarding career at Carnation Farms as a night manager and most recently worked for 10 years as a transportation manager at HerbCo, which he enjoyed very much.
Despite John’s gruff demeanor, to know him was to love him. He was kind hearted and often helped people in quiet and humble ways.
John is survived by his wife Linda, whom he married on July 22, 1985, in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. Also surviving are his sisters, Karen Mazurek of Wallingford, Conn., Regina Milano of Prospect, Conn., Katherine Bugley of Tacoma and Cecile Henault-Owen of Seattle; and a brother, Peter Henault of Italy. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends will also miss him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David.
A memorial service for John will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, 26525 N.E. Cherry Valley Road, Duvall. John’s brother-in-law, Joseph Mazurek, will officiate.
