Railroad Days keeps getting better

Letter to the Editor.

I’d like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the hard

work and efforts of the Parks, Public Works, Public Safety and Administration

departments of the City of Snoqualmie, along with numerous volunteers,

for presenting another successful Snoqualmie Railroad Days event.

Extra thanks goes to Lisa Schaffer, the event, sponsorship and parade

coordinator, for her commitment to provide a quality festival for all the

community to enjoy. Without her diligent efforts and those of the volunteer

committee chairpersons, this festival would not be possible.

For the past 17 years, I have had the pleasure to participate in this

annual event. Continually the people and the quality with which these

people work has managed to surpass each coming year. I am proud to be a

part of such an organization of professional individuals whose efforts and

dedication are shown by the quality of this cherished community celebration.

I look forward to next year’s event with the knowledge and

confidence that the staff and the City of Snoqualmie and its exceptional

volunteers and sponsors will deliver another terrific Snoqualmie

Railroad Days 2001!
