Signs were put on public rights-of-way

Letter to the Editor.

I’m outraged once again that an out-of-town political candidate

has soiled our pristine environment with ugly political signs along our

roadways.

Mr. Pedee, according to his statement in our county voters

pamphlet, is a 27-year Bellevue bureaucrat who certainly should know a little about

the rules of his office, and at the very least should know something about

private property rights. I counted over 30 of his signs on public

rights-of-way throughout my small neighborhood.

When I closely examined the signs for a campaign address, as required

by law, I found none. In checking the phone book to call Mr. Pedee

directly, I found no listing.

This is another example of the lengths the Issaquah firefighters

will go to, to take control of our community. If Mr. Pedee should win this

election, it will be a tainted victory, not won on merit, but by illegal

campaign practices.
