What does the cross of Jesus mean to you? The cross of Jesus to me

means “love.” So what is that love? God shows us that love in 1 Corinthians.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it

is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered,

it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with

the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

“Love never fails.”

That is what Jesus our Passover Lamb did for us. He gave us a way

to the throne of God to exchange our dirty rags for his robe of

righteousness. His salvation frees us from the

world’s way of sin to feel the love that God has for us. So let us unite and

show each other the love Jesus has for us. And if you don’t know Jesus, he

is alive and waiting at the cross for you.
