The Cedarcrest Red Wolves girls’ softball team added a loss to their record Tuesday, May 1, when they hosted Granite Falls in a conference match. The 7-2 loss is their second for the season, and their first since March 23.
Granite Falls took a commanding lead early in the game, scoring two unanswered runs in both the first and third innings, and another three in the fifth. The Red Wolves defense shut them down in the sixth, and the girls started scoring, but too late to make up the deficit.

For the Red Wolves, junior Taylor Turner hit a double, and Hall, going two for three at bat, hit a double, a single, and earned an RBI. Townley also had an RBI.
